Bickering away on the road back from fame and fortune

‘WASHED UP’ IS FULLY FUNDEDThanks so much to everyone who supported our crowdfunding campaign for Washed Up, Rough Glory’s rambunctious documentary about us. We smashed the original £5000 target, raising a total of £7,175 to complete the film, which explores how two people can maintain a creative working relationship for 22 years without (much) bloodshed.

The extra funds will increase Washed Up’s ability to make a big splash at international documentary and comedy film festivals

You can catch a preview of the film at the ISAN conference on November 27th, and we’re holding a special screening in Bristol on December 3rd for supporters & the public. Event details will be on our Facebook page, or click here to read more about Washed Up.

Our newly refurbished studio is in demand, with bookers including the Fancy Orchestra and Swing Dance Bristol, plus art therapy and rehearsals for Raucous Theatre’s new show Ice Road.  Click here for details and rates for this versatile space.
Evergreen thanks to Arts Council England which has confirmed its funding for the third Wye Valley River Festival 2018, to be held from May 5th – 19th 2018 with the theme of TREES & WOODLAND. Fundraising continues – Click here to find out more.
Watch Richard repeatedly slap Jon in the face with a book on November 15th at the Cube Cinema, Bristol, as part of The Power of Performance, an evening devoted to altered states & psychedelia…….
We’re on a directing roll: Richard directed Cirque Bijou’s Crossing the Line on board the SS Great Britain & is working on R & D with The Fabularium for a show based on Don Quixote, while Jon directed Bongo Bolero’s Fat Cat. If you need some direction, get in touch!

2018 marks the centenary of the end of World War One, so our WW1-inspired show Slapstick & Slaughter will be on the road again next year. Get in touch to book this ‘anarchic but consummately crafted’ little gem that raised a standing ovation at Passage festival this summer.
